Welcome to Ayat (آيات). This privacy policy explains how we handle your data when you use our application. We have built Ayat with privacy as a core principle.

1. Data Collection and Usage

Ayat does not collect, store, or share any personal information.

The app operates 100% offline and does not request or require internet permission. All your data, including custom Hadiths you add, Dhikr counters, and settings, are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to any external servers.

2. Permissions Requested

To provide its core features, Ayat requires the following device permissions. None of these permissions are used to collect data:

• Display over other apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): Required exclusively for the "Floating Dhikr" feature so the overlay can appear above other applications.
• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Required by Android to run the floating overlay continuously as a foreground service.
• Run at startup (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): Required to automatically refresh the home-screen widget and restart background tasks when you reboot your phone.

3. Third-Party Services

We do not integrate any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. Because the app has absolutely no internet access, it is impossible for any data to be sent to third parties.

4. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating this page. Since the app is offline, any changes to our privacy practices would only apply if accompanied by an app update.
